At Metro Christian Academy, our high school program is designed to prepare students for success beyond graduation. Through challenging academics, Christ-centered teaching, and opportunities to explore their interests, students are encouraged to develop the knowledge, confidence, and character needed to pursue their future goals.
We believe high school should be about more than earning a diploma. It is a time for students to discover their strengths and prepare for the responsibilities and opportunities ahead. Our high school students have the following opportunities:
- College-Preparatory Academics: Core coursework designed to challenge students and prepare them for their next educational steps.
- Dual Enrollment: Eligible juniors and seniors have opportunities to earn college credit while completing high school through dual enrollment courses offered in partnership with Welch College, Bryan College, and Pensacola Christian College.
- Elective Courses: Students can explore their interests and develop new skills through a variety of elective courses, including art, life skills, creative writing, chapel team, photography, music, theater, speech, ACT preparation, and yearbook.
- Biblical Education and Character Development: Bible classes and chapel experiences that reinforce Christian values and spiritual growth.
- Athletics and School Spirit: Opportunities to represent MCA, develop teamwork, and build lasting friendships through school sports.
- Music and Fine Arts: Opportunities to develop creative abilities through music, performances, and fine arts competitions.
- Preparation for Life Beyond Graduation: An emphasis on independence, responsibility, decision-making, and preparing for future academic and professional goals.
